Extramural regional seminars

Developing skills for successful tertiary study
Semester 1, 2010

In order to help new and returning extramural students better equip themselves for their studies with Massey University, Student Life Services will begin the first of a series of free evening regional seminars for 2010.

Writing Consultants and Advisors will present these seminars in many centres around New Zealand, informing students about extramural services, the Library, academic writing and the use of online sources such as Stream and WebCT. These will be held between 13 and 27 February, 2010.

For students who are located in Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch, these seminars will be held during a Saturday 'Extramural On Campus Day' where they can receive detailed information from local campus staff.

You can register for a regional seminar here. If you have any further enquiries, please feel free to e-mail SLC-PN@massey.ac.nz or call (06) 3502251.

Individual appointments

Students can also book an individual appointment (up to 20 minutes) to see either a consultant or librarian between 4 and 6pm on the day of the seminar. Places are limited so early bookings will be necessary to avoid disappointment. Phone (06) 3502251 if you would like to book yourself for an individual appointment.
